🍝 Vodka Pasta
Ingredients
- 400g pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup vodka
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add Vodka: Stir in vodka, cooking until reduced by half.
- Add Tomatoes: Stir in crushed tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add Cream: Stir in heavy cream until the sauce is creamy and heated through.
- Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve: Serve warm, garnished with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
